Meatloaf

  • 1 lb 90% lean ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup yellow onion (diced)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Topping

  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp red wine vinegar

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • In a large bowl, combine all Meatloaf ingredients. Mix together very well.
  • Add meatloaf mixture to a loaf pan, and spread into an even layer.
  • In a small bowl, stir together Topping ingredients.
  • Pour the Topping on top of the meatloaf and spread evenly.
  • Bake uncovered for 55 minutes (to an internal temperature of 160 degrees).
  • Remove from oven and let rest for 10 mintues.
